The images show findings of foraminiferan tests in samples (each 300-1200g) taken from the different beds of the Choptank and Calvert Formation at the indicated coordinates (see the single webpages per bed). This presentation does not imply any conclusion on biostratigrafic zonation. Statistical counts of the foraminifera-faunas or examination of the their spatial distribution and variation within each of the widespread and thick beds were not undertaken so far. The images may not even properly represent the content of each sample from a scientific point of view. Furthermore my The classification isal suggestions have not been verified by a professional scientist so far. Michael, March 2009.
